Image artifacts

Upload an image, pin comments with or without a drawing, or annotate the picture into a new version.

Upload

  1. In a project, choose New, then Upload files.
  2. Drop in a PNG, JPG, or WebP up to 25 MB, or choose Choose files.
  3. Choose Upload.

Comment

  1. Open the image and choose Comment, or press C.
  2. Click the spot you mean to pin a numbered comment there.

Draw on a comment

  1. Start a comment, then choose Draw on the image, the pencil in the comment box.
  2. Mark the picture with the pencil, shapes, arrows, text, or blur, then choose Add to comment.
  3. Post the comment. The original picture stays as it is. The marked snapshot is on the comment.

Annotate

  1. On the team view, choose Annotate.
  2. Mark the picture with the pencil, shapes, arrows, text, or blur.
  3. Choose Save as V3, or whichever version comes next. The marked picture becomes a new version and this one stays as it was.
  4. To change this version instead, open More save options, the arrow beside it, and choose Replace.

Tips

  • A pin stays on the same spot if you resize or hide Details under the image.
  • A comment can carry up to five images of its own.
  • A drawing on a comment leaves the picture as it is. Annotate burns marks into the picture. That is team-only.
