Markdown documents

Create a document in the project, edit it with your team, and let a connected agent change the same latest version.

Create a document

  1. In a project, choose New, then New document.
  2. Enter an Artifact name, then choose Create document.
  3. The document opens with that name as the first heading, ready to type on the line under it. No file is needed.

Insert a block

  1. Hover a line and choose + beside it, or type /.
  2. Pick Heading 1, Bullet List, Callout, Tabs, or Pill.
  3. Drag the handle beside a block to move it, or choose it for Turn into, Duplicate, and Delete.

Edit together

  1. Open a single-file markdown artifact on the latest version.
  2. Type in the document. There is no Save; the latest version updates as you type.
  3. Anyone else on the team with this document open sees your caret, name, and typing.

Edit from a connected agent

  1. Ask a connected agent to change the latest single-file markdown document.
  2. The agent edits that same latest version. It does not upload a new one.
  3. Anyone who has the document open sees the saved file.

Tips

  • The empty line says Type / for commands. Highlight text and choose Comment to start a thread on that passage.
  • Uploading a markdown file still creates the next version. Older versions stay as they were.
  • Share links and older versions stay a rendered preview. Bundled (ZIP) markdown cannot be edited this way.
